NEWS:Open webOS now available in beta

IN BRIEF. After the announcement of his death and his resurrection as an open source project, Open webOS has finally give news.

After announcing in December 2011 that WebOS would continue to live as an open source project, HP hinted that version 1.0 of webOS Open emerge by September 2012.

Almost in time and almost in its announcement, Open webOS under Apache 2.0 license has been available in beta, indicates a post on the project blog.

This first delivery offers two environments for developers. One for the "desktop" Linux. The other, called OpenEmbedded, can bring webOS to the "new devices". It includes in particular ARM emulator.

NEWS:Microsoft Bing, a page to get the photos on Facebook

IN BRIEF. Microsoft has created a specific page for Bing, its search engine, which allows Facebook users to easily find the pictures of their friends.

Microsoft and Facebook are longstanding partners. Since yesterday, Thursday, August 30, the software publisher offers a specific interface of its Bing search engine to browse and easier to find his shots and especially those of his friends in Facebook.
